Free-first policy

The main detector remains usable without payment. Anonymous users receive 1 check per UTC day, and users who sign in with Google receive 3 free checks per UTC day. Pro then provides 50 additional checks per UTC calendar month. Permanent purchased credits are used only after both free and Pro allowances are exhausted.

Detection technology

Free, Pro, and paid-credit live checks use the same underlying detection technology: Modulate's Velma-2 Synthetic Voice Detection API. Payment increases usage capacity; it does not use a different model or guarantee a more certain result.

Payments

Payments are handled by Creem. Pro renews monthly at $9.90 until canceled. The $4.99 credit pack is a one-time purchase and does not renew. Failed or server-error detections return any reserved Pro check or permanent credit.

Important limitation

AI voice detection is probabilistic. A paid check would not guarantee a more certain result, a legal finding, or a forensic conclusion. Results should be reviewed with audio context, source evidence, and direct confirmation when stakes are high.
