What We Collect

When you use the detector, you may upload or record an audio file. If you sign in with Google, we receive your Google account email, name, profile image, and Google account identifier. We also process basic request data such as IP address, browser metadata, and usage counts for abuse prevention.

How Audio Is Processed

The browser prepares the selected audio and sends a short WAV sample to our server. The server enforces the configured analysis window and sends that sample to Modulate's Velma-2 Synthetic Voice Detection API. Audio is processed for detection only and is not used by this app to train models.

Storage

We do not intentionally store uploaded audio files after a detection request completes. Detection results and usage counters may be kept temporarily in server memory for caching, rate limiting, and debugging. Server memory is cleared when the process restarts.

To measure reliability, product usage, and repeat use, we keep a pseudonymous detection event. It can include a one-way hashed visitor or account identifier, the event date, signed-in category, plan, selected analysis length, referring page path, outcome or broad error category, provider name, cache status, result category, and processing time. This event does not contain the audio, file name, email address, Google account ID, or raw IP address.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand page visits and product interactions such as selecting audio, starting or completing a detection, viewing pricing, starting checkout, and returning from checkout. We send broad event categories and page paths rather than audio content, file names, or detection identity hashes. Google may process device, browser, and network information under its own terms.

Google Login

Google login is optional. You can use the free detector without signing in. If you sign in, we use your Google profile only to identify your account, show your login state, and apply signed-in usage limits.

Third-Party Processing

Our live AI voice detection provider is Modulate, and the detection model/API used by this service is Velma-2 Synthetic Voice Detection. The selected short audio sample is sent to Modulate for analysis, so Modulate's own data processing terms may apply. Do not upload private, confidential, or legally sensitive audio unless you are comfortable with this processing. If the result panel identifies the provider as "Mock," the app is operating in demo mode and no sample is sent to Modulate.

Payments

If you subscribe to Pro, payment details such as order ID, payment email, subscription status, renewal status, cancellation status, and refund status may be processed by the payment provider and used to grant or support paid access.
